Monarch Celebration!
We are proud to partner with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation on the City of Charlotte’s annual Monarch Celebration. This is a free family event aimed to raise awareness about pollinator conservation including the monarch butterfly. This annual celebration features educational activities, games, giveaways, vendors, crafts, and much more!
Schedule of Events
- 10:00am – Event starts
- 11:00 – Speaker Cary Wells, community science | Location: Outdoor shelter
- 11:15 – Migration Game | Kids nature playground area
- 11:45 – Speaker Pepe Chavez, Monarch migration | Outdoor shelter
- 12:00 – Migration March w/Ranger Rick | Outdoor shelter
- 12:15 – Migration Game | Kids playground
- 12:30 – Raffle winners announced
- 1:00pm – Event ends

We depend on donations to fulfill our mission. As a volunteer run 501(c)3 nonprofit we are funded through donations from individuals, dues sharing, and business sponsorships.
