ABOUT

Charlotte Wildlife Stewards (formerly CROWN), a chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, was established in 2013 by a group of passionate volunteers who saw a need to raise awareness about the status of the Charlotte’s wildlife as well as their habitat. Wildlife is abundant in Charlotte and as development continues to grow, more and more habitat is lost. Our chapter has developed programs, events, and activities that connect people with nature, and we collaborate with partner organizations in joint efforts to spread our message.

Join us in making Charlotte a wildlife-friendly community.
