Kids in Nature Day

Location: Reedy Creek Park, Shelter 4 (2900 Rocky River Road, Charlotte, NC 28215)

Kids in Nature Day (KIND) is a free, fun-filled, hands-on adventure where kids and families get up close with nature! Activities include meeting animal ambassadors, creating art from things found only in nature, a guided nature hike, exploring native plants and animals, and more. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Our programs and events are free and open to everyone.

Monthly educational programs run September through May and are offered in-person at Sardis Baptist Church and online. Occasionally we have a remote speaker in which case the program will be online only.

Other events such as creek cleanups, guided nature walks, birdhouse installations, invasive plant removals, and more are held across the Charlotte area and provide a fun, family-friendly way to connect with nature.

Stay up-to-date by signing up for our monthly newsletter.
