Monarch Celebration
The annual Monarch Celebration will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Reedy Creek Park Nature Center from 10am-1pm.
This is a free, family-friendly educational festival that raises public awareness about the ecological importance of monarch butterflies and other pollinators, while supporting the City of Charlotte in maintaining its Bee City USA designation.
Activities
Come anytime between 10am-1pm and enjoy any of the activities offered:
- Monarch march around the pollinator garden
- Individual crafts, giveaways, and activities at exhibitor tables
- Free popcorn
- Photo booth with wings and props
- Seed giveaways and raffle
