Monarch Celebration
The annual Monarch Celebration took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Reedy Creek Park Nature Center from 10am-1pm.
This is a free, family-friendly educational festival that raises public awareness about the ecological importance of monarch butterflies and other pollinators, while supporting the City of Charlotte in maintaining its Bee City USA designation.

- Open classroom with activity stations
- Individual crafts, giveaways, and activities at exhibitor tables
- “Ask the Expert” station by Master Naturalists
- Pollinator garden planting
- Raffle giveaways
- Face painting
- Photo booth
