Monarch Celebration!

We are proud to partner with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation on the City of Charlotte’s annual Monarch Celebration. This is a free family event aimed to raise awareness about pollinator conservation including the monarch butterfly. This annual celebration features educational activities, games, giveaways, vendors, crafts, and much more!

  • 10:00am – Event starts
  • 11:00 – Speaker Cary Wells, community science | Location: Outdoor shelter
  • 11:15Migration Game | Kids nature playground area
  • 11:45Speaker Pepe Chavez, Monarch migration | Outdoor shelter
  • 12:00Migration March w/Ranger Rick | Outdoor shelter

  • 12:30 – Raffle winners announced
